The Memory Forum is a free community event hosted by the Community Council for Arab Dementia Research, in partnership with the UT San Antonio School of Nursing. At this gathering we will learn more about dementia, share our experiences and perspectives, and explore how we can support future research and advocacy.

In order to participate in this event, you will be asked to enroll in a survey study about dementia and experiences with research if you are eligible.

منتدى الذاكرة هو فعالية مجتمعية مجانية يستضيفها المجلس المجتمعي لأبحاث الخرف العربي، بالتعاون مع كلية التمريض بجامعة تكساس في سان أنطونيو. في هذا اللقاء، سنتعرف أكثر على الخرف، ونتبادل خبراتنا ووجهات نظرنا، ونستكشف سبل دعم الأبحاث والتوعية في المستقبل.

Press Conference & Community Plática: On Thursday, March 5, 2026, community members, family caregivers, community health workers, local officials, and researchers will gather at the El Cenizo Pavilion in Rio Grande City, Texas to hold a press conference shining a light on the dementia crisis in South Texas and to advocate for research to serve the communities most affected.
