San Antonio, TX: Community Engagement Program : Memory Forum (December 2025)
We have successfully engaged our group of Arab American community in conversations about dementia, research, and advocacy, the program included, music, poetry, food and interactive yet very interesting breakout group discussions with a chance to express their ideas & opinions with everyone.
San Antonio, TX: River of Life (August 2025)
Our academic partners at UT San Antonio hosted two of our dementia research project councils for a very productive River of Life workshop, inspired by the UNM CBPR Institute. This activity has helped us look ahead and connect our shared cross-cultural struggles for equitable dementia care.
