Hi, I’m Linda Andrews and caring for others is truly one of my greatest joys in life.
I am a woman with a heart for people, a mind for knowledge, and a mission for impact. Dementia has become one of the causes closest to my heart, and for years I have had the privilege of walking alongside caregivers who are lovingly supporting family members living with this disease. From my church family and my hometown community to families in states across the country, I show up wherever I am needed because I genuinely believe that is what we are called to do.
My faith is at the center of everything. The Bible’s call to serve those in need is not just something I believe, it is something I live out every single day. Researching, learning, and teaching about Alzheimer’s and dementia is a core part of my mission, because I know that knowledge is power and compassion is action. The more people understand this disease, the better equipped we all are to face it together.
One of my deepest passions is giving caregivers the gift of rest. Caregiving is beautiful, but it is also incredibly hard, and no one should have to carry that weight without support. I step in so that caregivers can step back, breathe, and take care of themselves too because a caregiver who is cared for can give so much more.
I also serve as an Altar Ambassador, part of a wonderful national program that equips churches to become safe, informed, and compassionate spaces for individuals and families impacted by dementia. Getting to combine my faith community with this mission feels like such a blessing. I believe the church has a powerful role to play in how we as a society respond to this disease, and I am honored to help build those bridges.
At the end of the day, I just love people. I love showing up. I love bringing awareness to dementia. And I love being part of a community that refuses to let anyone face this disease alone — one heart, one family, one community at a time.
Every act of kindness creates a ripple of change, and the work we do today plants seeds of hope that will bloom for years to come.
