Years later, when her brother suffered a massive stroke and began showing signs of vascular dementia, Opel stepped into the role of caregiver once again—this time with greater knowledge, empathy, and determination. These personal journeys inspired her to learn more about dementia and to support other families facing similar challenges.

Today, Opel is a certified caregiver with extensive experience providing compassionate, high‑quality care to individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Her strong background in the healthcare field gives her a deep understanding of the progressive stages of cognitive decline, and she is committed to supporting both patients and their families with dignity, patience, and professionalism.

Opel is CPR certified and HIPAA certified, reflecting her commitment to safety, confidentiality, and ethical care standards. Beyond her hands‑on caregiving work, she also serves as an Office Administrator at an entry‑level nursing trade school, where she supports academic operations and contributes to the development of future healthcare professionals.
