I am an Army veteran and retired police officer. I come from a family that believes in giving back. I watched my mother care for her parents, her father had dementia. I am currently a caregiver for my mother who is living with dementia. I believe in any form of public service and enjoy talking to people about my family’s experience with dementia. I spend most of my time with my family, which includes my mother, wife, four children and two grandchildren, a dog and a cat. I enjoy coaching youth sports, the outdoors, going to the gym and watching movies.
